Textured Surfaces Online Workshop

Lesson One
In this first lesson
we will show you how to create a selection of textured surfaces in preparation for adding colour. We will be using fabrics,
canvas, molding paste, threads, Tyvek, wallpaper and scrim amongst other materials.
This lesson consists
of four separate chapters each giving a detailed explanation of a different technique.

You will learn how to
build on from Lesson One by adding layers of colour using acrylics, inks, dyes and other colouring mediums.
This lesson also consists
of four chapters - each linking to the techniques from Lesson One and including several ideas for projects using those techniques.

And finally, the third lesson has
ideas for adding stitch to your surfaces and mounting your samples along with a few more ideas for creating texture.
In this lesson there will also be
projects and ideas on how to use some of the textures you have created, including a journal and portfolio to keep your samples
and notes for future reference.
